After flying to New York City, I checked into my hotel and headed out in search of food. There was limited service on my flight due to turbulence, this is becoming a regular thing, have you noticed? I came across Rintintin and thought it looked cute.
I mean, look at this sweet bar.
The menu sitting outside the door mentioned this yummy caprese sandwich. It did not disappoint and the open walls let in a lovely breeze.
After lunch I walked around and passed this little pocket park, Elizabeth Street Garden. It was full of people sunning themselves and statues. Living in Kansas City, I sometimes forget how limited open green space is in other places.
After getting a bit of work done, I headed to the CitizenM rooftop deck for a cocktail with a co-worker. I had the “Firefighter Skateboarder.” It was delicious. The drink is made with makrut leaf-infused Bombay Sapphire, Buddha’s Hands Limoncello, lemongrass, lime, laos, coconut cream, egg white, and centella asiatica soda.
Finally, we headed to The Library at The Public for family dinner. It was a great chance to catch up with friends and colleagues over food and drinks. I thought this was an impressive spread.
